Although Northamptonshire as a club have been incredibly supportive and helpful in terms of this exciting project, my coverage will absolutely be independent.

I’ll be drawing on my many years covering domestic and international cricket. I’ve written extensively for The Cricketer, The Cricket Paper, Wisden Cricket Monthly, ESPNcricinfo, Women’s CricZone and many more. I also cover Northamptonshire for the ECB Reporters Network.

Most of all though, I bring my love for Northamptonshire County Cricket Club and county cricket in general, and a desire to provide the club with the coverage it deserves.

I’ve been a regular at Wantage Road for many years, both as a fan and in the press box – as well as bringing my youngest son to winter nets in the indoor school. Among my favourite memories was being with my son at Edgbaston in 2013 to see the Steelbacks lift the T20 trophy. I’m looking forward to reporting on further successes in the future.
