Calvin Harrison has been named in the England Lions T20 squad for next month’s tour of the Caribbean.

Harrison is part of a 14-player squad who will play three unofficial T20 internationals against West Indies A in St Kitts and Nevis.

His selection recognises his role Northamptonshire’s successful Vitality Blast campaign in which he took 22 wickets, including a career-best return of 5-9 against Essex. He also claimed 10 wickets for losing finalists Trent Rockets in The Hundred, including two in the final at Lord’s.

It will be his second taste of Lions cricket after their tour of Abu Dhabi in late February was cut short by the conflict in the Middle East, with the squad forced to shelter in place in their hotel.
