Northamptonshire Steelbacks take on Gloucestershire in the Metro Bank One Day Cup today with qualification still on the line.

The Steelbacks face bottom-placed Gloucestershire at Cheltenham and can still clinch third place with a victory, provided other results go their way.

Third place would be sufficient for an away quarter-final.

So, the equation for Northamptonshire is relatively simple. They must beat Gloucestershire, and hope Somerset defeat Lancashire, and Warwickshire beat Kent.
