Northamptonshire Steelbacks Women play their final Metro Bank One Day Cup group game against Derbyshire Falcons at Belper tomorrow with the prize of a home semi-final on the line.
Anisha Patel’s side have already qualified for the semi-finals on 13th September but have the opportunity to reach second place and secure a home fixture in the knockout stages.
Glamorgan, who turn fully professional next season, head the table on 28 points and travel to Radlett tomorrow to take on second-placed Middlesex who boast 24 points.
Victory for the Welsh county could open the door for either third-placed Kent or fourth-placed Northamptonshire leapfrog Middlesex and seal second place and a home semi-final.
