Northamptonshire Steelbacks will be without Ricardo Vasconcelos and Aadi Sharma for tomorrow’s must-win Metro Bank One Day Cup game against Nottinghamshire Outlaws.

Both players miss out through injury as the Steelbacks head to Queen’s Park in Chesterfield to take on the third-placed Outlaws, whose home ground Trent Bridge is being used for The Hundred.

The club revealed today that Sharma has recently suffered a shoulder injury, while Vasconcelos has a slight calf issue. Both players are also likely to miss Northamptonshire’s home game against Somerset on Sunday.

Head Coach Darren Lehmann has named a 13-man squad to face the Outlaws and Somerset, bringing in Sam King for the first time following his recent involvement with Northamptonshire’s Second XI.
