Ravi Bopara has confirmed that he won't be back at Wantage Road this summer after calling time on his 25-year domestic cricket career.
Northamptonshire fans will never forget his stunning unbeaten 105 from just 46 balls against Surrey at the Oval last September to send the Steelbacks to their first Finals Day since 2026.
It's an end of an era for Bopara, who has featured in all 23 editions of the Vitality Blast. He will now prioritise coaching and commentary opportunities.
The veteran all-rounder spent his last two seasons with Northamptonshire, scoring just over 800 runs.
