Ricardo Vasconcelos is set to take the gloves for the first time this season against Worcestershire at Wantage Road tomorrow night after Lewis McManus sustained a toe injury at Durham.
The injury comes as a blow as the Steelbacks seek to follow up their 100-run win over the Rapids at Worcester last month and further extend their unbeaten run in this year’s Vitality Blast.
But the Steelbacks will be on a high after they dispatched Durham in a thriller at Chester-le-Street on Saturday night to make it five wins from five in the tournament.
