Darren Lehmann says Northamptonshire Steelbacks are well prepared for Saturday’s Vitality Blast Finals Day and believes the experience they gained from last year’s semi-final appearance stands them in good stead.

The men’s head coach also says the team have different plans in store for Somerset ahead of the semi-final clash on Saturday morning following two defeats in the group stages.

“We know what to expect from finals day now,” said Lehmann. “Now we're a bit more attuned to what we have to do and how we go about it.

“So, the more you do it, the easier it gets from a preparation point of view. So, we know we're going to train on Friday. We'll do a team meeting down there and just have a light session and then get ready to play hopefully two games in one day.”
