Gateway T20 League final details announced

With the inaugural Gateway T20 League final taking place at Wantage Road this evening, here's The Steeler's guide to the finalists.

The final of the inaugural Gateway T20 League between Northern Titans and Southern Storm gets underway at the cinch County Ground this evening at 6pm.

Titans under player-coaches Josh Cobb and Greg Smith will take on a Storm side featuring former professionals Darren Stevens and Matthew Coles.

Meanwhile, Northamptonshire Steelbacks Women’s head coach David Ripley has named a 12-player squad for the T20 friendly against Buckinghamshire which will take place at 2pm. The game will serve as a useful warm-up for the Steelbacks’ crucial T20 County Cup quarter-final against Essex at Wantage Road on Sunday. The squad includes four players who are stepping up from age group cricket.
