Northamptonshire Men’s Head Coach Darren Lehmann says signing a new two-year contract extension was an easy decision.

The club announced this morning that Lehmann’s new deal will keep the former Australian national coach at Wantage Road until at least the end of the 2029 season, allowing him to keep developing and delivering his long-term vision for the club.

The news comes after he initially signed a one-year extension in August last year.

"It was an easy decision for me because I love the place," Lehmann said.
