Northamptonshire’s captain Luke Procter believes his side are in with a good chance going into the final day of their Rothesay County Championship clash with Gloucestershire at Bristol.
The match is tantalisingly poised with Northamptonshire on 144 for five, still needing another 105 to win on a pitch which is still offering plenty for the bowlers, although conditions have eased after a chaotic second day.
