Steelbacks T20 skipper Gemma Marriott is backing her team to reach Tier 2 Vitality Blast Finals Day this year as they prepare for their opening match away at Worcester this Sunday.
The Steelbacks are on a high after comfortably dispatching Tier 3 side Bedfordshire & Huntingdonshire on Sunday to book their place in the third round of the knockout Vitality T20 County Cup. It was a ruthless performance in inclement weather and, says Marriott, a strong statement of what her side are capable of.
