Steelbacks Women will play their County Cup quarter-final at the cinch County Ground, Wantage Road next month and head coach David Ripley is calling on fans to turn out in numbers to support the team.
The Steelbacks, led by skipper Gemma Marriott, dispatched Derbyshire in comprehensive fashion away at Denby Village recently to book themselves a place in the quarter-finals.
They face a tough challenge against professional Tier 1 side Essex on Sunday 23 August, but Ripley says the fixture is a well-earned reward for his side.
