Nathan McSweeney has lifted all three domestic trophies as a skipper in Australian cricket. His quest to win another as Northamptonshire Steelbacks’ new One Day Cup captain began in impressive fashion against Warwickshire on Tuesday with a five-wicket win.
For McSweeney, though, while he hailed it as a ‘great start’, he still saw areas for improvement, not least in his own demise 12 runs short of a well-deserved century.
