‘It feels like home’ – Keogh back in his groove at the Abington Avenue End

For Rob Keogh, returning to bowl from the Abington Avenue End on Sunday was a bit like a homecoming.
Bowling in tandem with Yuzi Chahal, he quickly found his groove against Somerset, going on to take career-best List A bowling figures of four for 35.
With Chahal claiming three wickets at the other end, the West Country outfit were bundled out for just 185 before the Steelbacks went on to win comfortably with 20 overs to spare.
Keogh, for whom the One Day Cup has been his first taste of first-team cricket this season, surpassed his previous best of four for 49, also against Somerset at Wantage Road in 2023.
