Finedon take control of NCL title race as Geddington move into second

Finedon Dolben lead Geddington by 22 points after beating Stony Stratford as we review last weekend’s Premier Division action and look ahead to tomorrow's penultimate round.

League leaders Finedon Dolben pulled out in front at the top of the Northamptonshire Cricket League Premier Division last Saturday, winning their showdown with Stony Stratford CC in style by a comfortable 132-run margin.

Meanwhile Geddington leapfrogged Stony into second place with a closely fought away victory at Peterborough and currently lie 22 points behind Finedon with Stony just three points adrift in third.

With Finedon in sight of a fifth successive Premier Division title, The Steeler runs through the highlights from last weekend and previews the penultimate round of fixtures taking place this Saturday, 12 September.
